About Restitua
We started because getting a fair refund was needlessly exhausting.
Restitua was founded in Berlin in 2015 by a small group of advisors who were tired of watching ordinary people walk away from money they were clearly owed — worn down by hold music, unanswered emails and forms designed to make them quit.
Today our team handles consumer claims and restitution cases for private individuals across Europe. We're not a faceless platform: every case is read by a person, and the person you speak to is the person handling your claim.

How much does it cost to check my claim?
The first review of your situation is free. If there's a claim worth pursuing, we'll explain the fee in writing before any work starts, so you can decide with the full picture in front of you.
What if my amount is quite small?
Small claims are most of what we do. The point of Restitua is to make recovering modest amounts worthwhile, because chasing them alone usually isn't.
Do I have to go to court?
Almost never. The large majority of cases are resolved by a well-prepared claim and correspondence. If a formal step is ever needed, we explain it clearly first — nothing happens without your agreement.
Is Restitua a law firm?
Restitua is a consumer-claims consultancy. We help you understand and assert your consumer rights and prepare your claim. Where a case needs regulated legal representation, we'll tell you plainly.
