This policy explains what personal data Restitua GmbH ("we", "us") collects when you contact us or use this website, why we collect it, and the rights you have. We act as the data controller for the information described here.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and, if you ask us to, to assess and pursue your claim:
- Contact details you give us — your name and email address.
- The description of your situation and any documents you choose to send us.
- Basic technical data your browser sends automatically, such as your approximate region and the pages you view.
Why we use it
We use your data to reply to your enquiry, to assess whether you have a claim, to carry out work you instruct us to do, and to meet our own legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of your consent and our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR), and where required to comply with the law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to deal with your request, and case data for as long as the law requires us to retain records. After that, it is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these, email us at the address below.
